The Central Election Commission will discuss next week the process of verifying signatures. At today's meeting of the CEC, it was said that the process of verifying the signatures of the Serbs for the dismissal of the mayors in the four municipalities with a Serbian majority has not yet been completed.

The chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi, said that next week will be final for this process and that they will approve some internal regulations beforehand.

The Central Election Commission announced on January 29 that it has begun the process of verifying the signatures collected for the dismissal of the mayors in the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo.

At today's CEC meeting, it was also decided to register a Serbian party in Kosovo.

The Director of the Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control of Political Entities, Besnik Buzhala said that this political party will have the serial number 51.

‘Srpski Narodni Pokret’ (SNS) is the fourth Serbian party to be registered in the Republic of Kosovo and will function among many other parties in our country.

After the CEC decision for registration, this party will be listed in the register of political parties with number 51.

So far, three political parties have been registered from the ranks of the Serbian community, ‘Srpska Lista’ led by Zlatan Elek, ‘Partija Kosovskih Srba’ led by Aleksandar Jabllanovic and ‘Srpska Demokratija’ led by Aleksandar Arenijevic. /Sh. Pajaziti
