The union of Albanian political parties in North Mitrovica is expected to increase their influence in the assembly
The Albanian political parties have decided to run together in the local elections on October 17, in North Mitrovica, a municipality that is currently led by the Serbian List. Named "Civic Initiative Mitrovica", the united Albanian parties applied yesterday for certification in the Central Election Commission. Researchers following local government consider that united Albanian parties could increase their influence in the municipal assembly of North Mitrovica.
Vetëvendosje, PDK, LDK, AAK and AKR, have decided to elect Skënder Sadiku as the holder of the list of Albanian parties for municipal assembly in the October 17 elections.
