Ukrainian MP Lesia Vasylenko has shared on social media a video of a necklace made by survivors of sexual violence in Kosovo, which was a gift from a colleague. She wrote that it had not occurred to her that within a few weeks she would face evidence of rape of Ukrainian women and girls. “A month ago a colleague at the PACE_News gave me this necklace made by #Kosovo rape survivors. Little did I suspect that in a few weeks I’d be faced with horrific testimonies of #Ukraine women and girls raped, abused and executed”, she wrote.
