The U.S. welcomes the implementation of the Law on Foreigners in Kosovo and commends the parties on the agreement reached
The United States of America has welcomed the agreement reached on the implementation of the Law on Foreigners.
In a response to KosovaPress, a spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo said that any changes affecting Kosovo Serbs should be made with their consent.
“The United States welcomes the announcement of the agreement reached regarding the implementation of the Law on Foreigners. We commend the parties’ engagement on this issue in reaching a solution acceptable to all,” the response states. “Any change that affects the Kosovo Serb community should be made in close consultation with and with the consent of the Kosovo Serb community.”
