The filing of indictments for the trial in absentia for the punishment of the perpetrators of crimes during the war in Kosovo is not expected to produce any legal effect for the accused, nor justice for the victims. This is what justice experts and human rights defenders say. Meanwhile, the Special Prosecutor's Office has already filed two indictments for trial in absentia for war crimes.
