The trial against Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj starts, the indictment is read in a private session
The trial of the former leaders of the Organization of KLA War Veterans, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj, who are accused of criminal offenses against the administration of justice, has started in the Specialist Chambers of Kosovo in The Hague. The unedited version of the indictment was read by the prosecutor in closed session. Today's hearing envisages the introductory statement from the Specialist Prosecutor's Office and the reading of the rights to the accused, which is done by the trial panel.
While reading a part of the indictment, the prosecutor said that Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj organized the dissemination of non-public information in order to obstruct the work of the SPO.
