The Swedish Presidency of the European Union has started consultations with member countries regarding Kosovo's request for membership in the European Union, and at this moment does not want to prejudge what the results of these consultations will be.

This was said in Brussels by Sweden's ambassador to the EU, Lars Danielsson, who personally started these consultations in his capacity as the next president of the EU.
