The technical workers of the capital's schools have returned to work. This is after the Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector of Kosovo has reached an agreement with the Municipality of Prishtina.

The strike which started on Monday ended on Thursday afternoon.

The head of the union, Jusuf Azemi, said in an interview for KosovaPress that all their demands presented have been accepted by the municipal representatives. However, he said that he cannot give details of the agreement until Monday.

Azemi added that their priorities have been to increase the salaries of technical workers and that the salary of 230 euros is not enough for them.

Meanwhile, he said that the Municipality of Prishtina has been very close to the workers and that the moment the Union reached an agreement, the workers started working yesterday afternoon, and that today they are on regular schedule.

Since February 5, the technical workers of the capital's schools have been on strike due to low salaries. /A. Zogaj/
