The continuous declarations of the heads of our state that Serbia is preparing new attacks on Kosovo are having a negative effect on the economic aspect. The President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC), Lulzim Rafuna, asks the Government of Kosovo and the country's leaders to be more careful, as he says, with the messages they are conveying to foreign representatives. These statements about insecurity and warnings about any new attack, according to him, are becoming an obstacle for the absorption of foreign investments in the country.

Rafuna says that despite the fact that the topics with Serbia are open, according to him, this issue should not be an obstacle for the state to work harder to bring foreign investments to Kosovo and to prove that the country is a stable and friendly state.

The head of the KCC, Rafuna, in an interview for KosovaPress, also spoke about the cooperation with Albania and asked to deepen it even more.

Speaking about the country's economic development, Rafuna estimates that state representatives should convey as many positive messages as possible that Kosovo is a calm and stable place to do business.

As for the economic cooperation with Tirana, Rafuna says that the proposal of the KCC is that the Kosovo-Albania border should be crossed with a unique system of added value and the goods should not be subject to customs procedures.

Rafuna reiterates that with the liberalization of visas, the turnover of businesses has also decreased.

However, he says that despite the liberalization, the expectations are that there will be an influx of the diaspora and in this direction the financial circulation of businesses will increase.

Speaking about the challenges of businesses, Rafuna wishes that the government's approach to the private sector changes, and that their opinion be sought in every decision that affects businesses.
