The soldiers are decorated with medals after returning from the first military mission of the KSF abroad
The medal ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defense for KSF members who returned after completing their mission in the peacekeeping and stability operation alongside the American forces of the IOWA National Guard in the Middle East, in Kuwait, during the period May-October 2021.
On this occasion, the Deputy Minister of Defense, Shemsi Syla, awarded the medals "Participation in international operations" awarded by the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj for: Major Mentor Ibrahimi, Captain Kreshnik Haxhiu, Lieutenant Dhurim Shemsedini, Lieutenant Hynor Lajqi and soldier Mehmet Mehmeti. He was awarded the Outstanding Service Medal by members of the Iowa National Guard, Captain Wesley R. Gudenkauf, and First-Class Sergeant Matthew G. Sandersen.
