The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo (SPORK) has announced that a Kosovar of Serbian nationality, G.M., has been arrested today as a suspect for war crimes in Kosovo, specifically in the Dubrava massacre in May 1999.

The Special Prosecution Office announces that in the framework of the investigation into the murders and ill-treatment of prisoners in Dubrava Prison, during the war in Kosovo, it has issued a decision to expand the investigation against the defendant G.M. due to the reasonable suspicion that he physically abused the prisoners of that prison, as well as participated in the killing of a large number of prisoners during the month of May 1999...
