During July, Kosovo recorded a large number of people infected with COVID-19, but also the number of those who died was large. In order to prevent the spread of this virus, field inspections have been increased, which are being carried out by sanitary inspectors supported by the Kosovo Police. In the last 12 days alone, the Sanitary Inspectorate has conducted over 2300 inspections throughout the territory of Kosovo, while 923 fines have been issued to individuals, 80 fines to legal entities, and the certificate of mandatory isolation has been issued to 750 persons.
