The new government of Kosovo, led by Avdullah Hoti of the LDK, in the first days of work had decided to remove the measure of reciprocity against Serbia.

This decision, according to Hoti, was taken in order to remove all obstacles for the dialogue to resume. Albin Kurti sees it as an unprecedented move, whereas those who monitor the dialogue process say that despite the decision to remove the reciprocity measure, Kosovo must insist on being an equal party at the dialogue table.
