The state prosecutor announced that he is overseeing the snap election process in the four municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, for mayor, in North Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok, while for municipal assemblies in Zvecan and Leposavic.
"Since seven o'clock in the morning today, the prosecutors, together with the Kosovo Police, are engaged in the police stations of the four respective municipalities, to closely supervise the progress of the election process, who are in a state of readiness to they react in every case where there is an obstacle to the voting process", the State Prosecutor announced.
Likewise, the state prosecutor, in order to prevent any irregularities related to the right to vote, calls on citizens, the media and civil society to cooperate and report to the police and the prosecutor's office for all eventual claims related to election abuses.
