The prosecution has been accused of amnestying several cases of non-declaration of assets of public officials
In four cases against senior public officials, the State Prosecutor violated the provisions of the Criminal Code of Kosovo. The actions of the accused were not qualified as inaccurate and false declaration of assets for which a more severe sentence is provided, but were qualified as non-declaration of assets or refusal of declaration for which a less severe sentence is provided. Charges are being brought against the prosecution for amnesty in some cases, as well as for silence during their prosecution.
