Tonight in Prishtina, a march-protest called by the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action was held, which aimed to condemn and stop murders and violence against women and girls.

The participants in this protest say that girls and women in Kosovo are in danger as a result of the violence perpetrated by men and that this negative phenomenon must end.

The activist of the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action, Liridona Sijarina said that the state must treat seriously the violence that is being perpetrated against women and girls, especially after the recent case of the murder of Liridona Ademaj.

Citizen Arjeta Krivaça told KosovaPress that killing and violence against women is a very serious event.

Fjolla Muçaj, an activist, said that the protest organized tonight in Prishtina was made in order to appeal to the state that the safety of women is being increasingly violated every day.

The march-protest "There is no peace without the safety of women" started from "Zahir Pajaziti" square to the Kosovo Police facility, to end peacefully, in front of the Kosovo Government building.
