About 1200 workers from a total of 34 educational institutions in the municipality of Mitrovica, have responded today to the one-hour strike organized by the Teachers Union. Isa Ismajli, president of the Municipal Education Union in Mitrovica, told KosovaPress that the strike was respected in all schools and that there was no opposition, whether from principals, teachers or parents themselves. "According to the information I have from the trade unions in all schools, the one-hour strike has been respected, starting from the first shift according to the school schedule. In no school have we had any objections, neither from the principals, nor from the parents ", Said Ismajli. Teachers today have been on strike for an hour across the country, thus responding to the call of the Teachers Union, while demanding 100 additional euros in salaries until the adoption of the Law on Wages.
