The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Gjilan is decreasing

The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Gjilan has dropped to 151, which marks the largest decrease in the last two months. The news was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Gjilan, Arber Ismajli, at the meeting of the Committee for Management and Prevention of the Spread of COVID-19, which includes civil emergencies and health institutions at local and regional level. Ismajli said that although there is a decrease in infection in Gjilan, care against the spread of the virus should continue to be great, which means wearing masks, maintaining social distance and cleaning hands. The general situation in Gjilan since the beginning of the pandemic is as follows: out of 7797 tests, 3070 people tested positive, 2825 have been completely cured, 95 people lost the battle with the virus, 151 cases are active, 26 persons with COVID-19 are hospitalized, and 50 samples are pending for result.
