In the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, the new Orthopedics Clinic was inaugurated today, which was said to be with modern conditions and affects the reduction of the waiting list for patients.

The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia said that this modern clinic has a total of 22 rooms and 44 beds and from now on citizens will have the opportunity to receive the most modern medical services.

Vitia emphasized that the cost of building this facility is around 2.8 million euros.

Minister Vitia emphasized that the investments in this clinic will affect the reduction in the waiting list, for which he promised that the provision of orthopedic services will start very soon in regional hospitals as well.

The director of the Orthopedics Clinic, Xhavid Gashi, said that the patients of the Orthopedics department who are in the Surgery Clinic from next week will be transferred to the new premises of this clinic.

He expressed optimism that in the coming year the Orthopedic Clinic will also be renovated, where it is currently functional and at the service of patients.

As for the old part where the Orthopedic Clinic has been operating until today, according to the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, it will be used for patients of clinics that will be renovated in the future.

The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, said that with the actions they are taking until the end of the year, the IFV service will be implemented in the public health sector.

Regarding the conference of the Trade Union Health Federation of Kosovo, which has been announced for today and where the dissatisfaction of health workers is expected to be presented, the head of this department said that as Government they have taken positive steps both in increasing the salary and in creating better working conditions.
