As of today, the new measures set by the Government to prevent the spread of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 enter into force. The government announced the new measures on Sunday at a press conference. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti together with the Minister of Health, Rifat Latifi announced the restrictions which enter into force today. The chief executive of the state said that the high risk of the spread of COVID-19, forces them to increase vigilance, while he also mentioned the low rate of vaccination, as well as the Omicron variant, which has spread to 34 countries around the world.
