The Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla has stated that the suspect for the murder of the pregnant woman in the yard of the UCCK has committed suicide.

"After intensive work by all units of the Kosovo Police, it has been possible to locate the location of the murderer Sokol Halili. Despite the attempt of the police officials to negotiate the surrender, the murderer committed suicide. The Kosovo Police as well as the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo will continue the investigations to reveal all the circumstances of the murder of the pregnant woman and the suicide of the murderer", wrote Minister Sveçla.
