A day after the visit to Kosovo of the Counselor of the United States Department of State, Derek Chollet, his messages for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue are being welcomed, especially the reconfirmation that mutual recognition should be at the center of the final agreement. However, the opposition and civil society call on the Government of Kosovo to take seriously the demands of the USA regarding the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, guaranteeing that it will be in accordance with the Constitution. Meanwhile, they emphasize that Chollet's visit to Kosovo and Serbia is expected to dynamize the dialogue.

The MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Rrezarta Krasniqi, tells KosovaPress that Kosovo should listen to the demands of the USA, but always maintaining constitutionality and territorial integrity.
