The review of the request of the MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Valentina Bunjaku - Rexhepi, regarding the monitoring of the Competition Authority of the Republic of Kosovo, regarding the implementation of the Law on public officials, has not been passed to the Commission on Economy.

This is because the MPs of the ruling party have abstained, not supporting the same.

The MP, Bunjaku, has said that her request is to make extraordinary monitoring of the law for the Competition Authority by the Council of Civil Servants.

Meanwhile, the MP of Vetëvendosje, Armend Muja, said that this needs to be clarified.

Whereas, at the request of the majority of MPs, the review of the Annual Report of the Public Enterprise Transmission System and Market Operator J.S.C. (KOSTT) for the year 2023 has been removed from the agenda.

This is due to the insufficient time they had to analyze the report.

The member of parliament from the ruling party, Jeta Statovci, said that according to the procedures and norms provided by the regulation of the Assembly, this point does not fulfill the necessary deadline for consideration by the members of parliament.

Meanwhile, the chairman of this commission, Ferat Shala, has justified this, saying that the KOSTT report came 15 minutes before the end of the legal deadline.

He said that the other reason that this meeting was called is due to the fact that part of the KOSTT board members' mandate ends next week adding that he does not agree with the fact that the intentions of certain groups that the board members do not come to report and leave to finish the mandate without closing the report.

On the other hand, the MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Valentina Rexhepi-Bunajku has proposed that this point be postponed to Thursday.
