With support for citizens to prevent suicide, the lifeline "Linja e Jetës" call center will shorten its working hours due to a lack of financial resources. Although with shorten working hours, this center will be able to continue to help the citizens until October of this year with the Swiss Embassy being the sole donor, since the German one has withdrawn its support. Bind Skeja, executive director at the Center for Information and Improvement, at the same time founder of "Lifeline", told KosovaPress that the financial aspect is making their work difficult. Although he does not mention numbers, Skeja says that the number of people who commit suicide for various reasons is large, including those from the LGBTI+ community.
