Yesterday and today, public sector workers did not work. This is because two dates of official holidays fell on the weekend, but according to the Law on Official Holidays, for these holidays no work is done on a working day, which means yesterday (Monday) and today (Tuesday).

Thus, yesterday, public sector workers did not work because on Saturday was Constitution Day, whereas today the same workers do not go to work because on Sunday was Catholic Easter.
