The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the social welfare statistics for the month of July 2024, where it is emphasized that the scheme for the pensions of the Kosovo Security Force has increased in the month of July 2024, compared to July 2023

According to KAS, in the month of July 2024, 848 beneficiaries benefited from the pensions of the Kosovo Security Forces, where compared to the same period of the previous year, where there were 741 beneficiaries, an increase of 14.4% is observed.

"In July 2024, compared to July 2023, there was a decrease in the number of beneficiaries from: the Trepça pension scheme (-19.6%); disability pension scheme (-18.0%); social assistance scheme (-9.0%); scheme for family pensions (-5.7%); the scheme for the families of martyrs and war invalids (-0.9%): the old-age contributory pension scheme (0.9%): the compensation scheme for the blind (0.8%). In July 2024, compared to July 2023, there was an increase in the number of beneficiaries from: the scheme for Paraplegic and Tetraplegic Pensions (11.6%); scheme for financial support to families with children with disabilities (10,3); pension scheme for disabled persons (4.6%); the pension scheme of the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC) (3.7%); compensation scheme for education workers who worked from the school year 1990/91 to the school year 1998/99 (1.6%); basic old age pension scheme (1.3%); scheme for war veterans (0.2%)", reads the announcement.
