Kosovo Police officers are demanding the jubilee salary, the 13th salary and the daily meal. All three of these requests they say were promised to them by the previous government, and above all they are guaranteed by law, but they have never received them. While feeling discriminated against, hundreds of them have filed lawsuits against the government. From these lawsuits, the Kosovo Police Union declares that they will withdraw only when their requests are met.

The President of the Kosovo Police Union, Shaban Tasholli, in an interview for KosovaPress, says that the former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti promised them last year that in December they will have an additional payment in the 12th month. But such a thing has not happened, so he says that the lawsuit is based on applicable law.
