The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that the Kosovo Police has started water patrolling on the border with Serbia as well as the entire area of Lake Ujman, for the first time since the post-war.

Sveçla wrote on Facebook that the state border is now complete.

"For the first time since the war, after the creation of the unit for water patrol, the Kosovo Police today started regular patrolling of the border line between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the entire area of Lake Ujman", he wrote.

On this occasion, he also praised the work of the Kosovo Police.

"Now, the control of the state border is more complete. I congratulate the Kosovo Police for the next success!", concluded Sveçla.

Ujmani is an artificial lake and lies in the northwest of Kosovo, while a small part of the lake passes into the territory of Serbia.
