The Directorate for International Police Cooperation (ILECU), in cooperation with the justice institutions and other relevant units of the Kosovo Police, on December 10, 2025, carried out the extradition of a Kosovo citizen from Germany to Kosovo, KosovaPress reports.

The suspect had been arrested by German authorities, as he was wanted on an international arrest warrant issued by Kosovo’s justice institutions for serving a one-year prison sentence, having previously evaded justice.

The extradition was carried out thanks to the cooperation between Kosovo’s institutions and those of Germany.

Following the extradition, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units in the Peja region for further legal procedures.
