The implementation of the agreement with Serbia is expected to be delayed. Eight days after the agreement in Ohrid on the annex for the implementation of the basic agreement for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations, the parties have not yet started concrete steps to implement the agreement, despite some deadlines set in the annex.
Point 7 for Kosovo, which talks about self-management of the Serbian community or the Association, and point four for Serbia, which emphasizes its non-obstacle for Kosovo's membership in international organizations, are considered problematic for further postponement of the implementation of the agreement. However, the delay in the implementation of the agreement, according to those familiar with the dialogue process, depends on the pressure of the European Union and the United States of America.
