The Government of Kosovo is expecting positive changes from European Union skeptics about visa liberalization. The executive expressed confidence that in seven months of government they have shown their clear goals for fighting crime, corruption and reforming the justice system. Although the Government did not give a date, experts on European integration see the first six months of 2022 as a real opportunity for visa liberalization, just when France, which is one of the sceptical countries, takes over the presidency of the EU Council. Kurti Government spokesman, Përparim Kryeziu, tells KosovaPress that Kosovo has met all the criteria for visa liberalization. However, he shows that they are in communication with hesitant countries and that they are aware of the positive developments in Kosovo.
