The government asks the Assembly to continue the emergency energy supply measures

The government held an electronic meeting where it approved the decision to continue emergency energy supply measures. Through this decision, the Government proposes to the Assembly of Kosovo, the extension of the emergency measures in the supply of electricity, with the aim of fully normalizing the situation at the level of extent and necessary duration.

According to the executive, the extension of these measures is due to the increase in demand for energy and the unstable situation of electricity supply.

"The lack of electricity comes as a result of the old generating capacities, the partial investments in this sector, and the continuous increase in consumption. This poses the urgent need to extend the measures for 30 days, due to the needs that may arise from the consequences of the international energy crisis", reads the statement...
