Former EULEX Judge, Malcolm Simmons, has once again addressed a letter to the Assembly of Kosovo, requesting that the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation hear his statements regarding the allegations of irregularities in the functioning of the European Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo. This was announced by his representative in Kosovo, lawyer Artan Qerkini, who says that they are waiting for a response from the committee. The chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Adnan Rrustemi, says that in the next meetings they will decide on a date when they will hear the testimony of the former EULEX judge.

Last year, the former head judge of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo, Malcolm Simmons, stated that this mission in some cases did not apply the principles of a fair and impartial trial in Kosovo.
