In the early hours of today a tragic event occurred in Gjakova. An 11-year-old girl lost her life as a result of the fire that engulfed the apartment in which she lived. The spokesman of the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova, Sheremet Elzaj, told KosovaPress that the news was received around 01:40 that the apartment which is located on "Yll Morina" street, caught fire. Firefighters had also come to the scene and together with the police had evacuated other residents of the same apartment block.
