The extension of emergency measures for energy supply is approved

The Kosovo Assembly with 61 votes in favor has voted for the government's decision that foresees the continuation of emergency measures for electricity supply for another 30 days.

AAK MP Albena Reshitaj also voted in favor of this decision. While other opposition parties have left the hall as a sign of dissatisfaction for the continuous postponement of today's session.

The Speaker of the Assembly Glauk Konjufca has explained the delays in the beginning of the session. Before the vote, Konjufca said that if the decision is not taken today, the electricity situation in the country could be complicated.

The Assembly also approved in principle the draft law on early childhood education. In order to reach the necessary quorum, the Assembly waited several hours.
