The European Taekwondo U21 Championship, will be held for the first time in Kosovo.

The Kosovo Taekwondo Federation has won the right to organize the European Taekwondo U21 Championship, which will be held on December 11-14, 2025 in Pristina.

This is a historic moment for the sport of Taekwondo in Kosovo, as for the first time our country is entrusted with the organization of such an important international event, writes KosovaPress.

“The decision came after the continuous efforts of the President of the KTF, Mr. Arsim Agushi, and the leadership of the federation, who have worked hard to make this a reality. The official confirmation was given by the European Taekwondo Federation (ETU) and approved by the World Taekwondo Federation (WT),” said the federation in a statement.

As an Olympic sport, Taekwondo will bring nearly 50 countries to Kosovo to compete in the capital of Kosovo, making this event an extraordinary opportunity for the promotion and development of the sport.
