The Muslim believers in Kosovo are celebrating the Eid al Fitr, a holiday that comes after fasting for a month, during the holy month of Ramadan, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Eid al Fitr prayer is not organized in Kosovo mosques.

At the time of Eid al Fitr, the Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava, addressed to the public with the message of Eid, saying that today he has mixed feelings as never before, as it is the first time of Eid al Fitr that he is addressing the public without the congregation and without the Eid al Fitr prayer. However, he added that the Muslim believers in our lands and around the world have a reason to be happy because they are celebrating one of the most important holidays in Islam.
