The Collective for Feminist Thought and Action held a symbolic action in front of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council opposing the decision of this institution that the prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Mitrovica, Stojanka Kasalović, should only be given a written public warning. The same prosecutor on January 1 of this year acquitted Skënder Qerimaj in a regular procedure after being denounced for violence, while on January 5 he killed his wife Lirie Qerimaj in the village of Llausha in Skenderaj. The Collective for Feminist Thought and Action has opposed the Prosecution Council's remark against the prosecutor, saying that Kasalović's negligence cost Lirie Qerimaj her life. In this action, it was said that despite the constant denunciations of the deceased Lirie Qerimaj for violence by her husband, the prosecutor had released him even though the deceased had also requested a protection order.
