The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria visits the PIK, they talk about deepening cooperation

The chief of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK), Kushtrim Hodaj, together with the deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Bardhyl Dobra, received today a delegation from the Republic of Bulgaria headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivelina Dundakova.

The communiqué states that within this meeting, the possibility of cooperation in the field of police surveillance was discussed, with a special emphasis on the exchange of information and the fight against corruption in the police forces of the respective countries.

Chief Hodaj informed the guests about the functioning and activities of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo and expressed the willingness to deepen the cooperation with the counterpart Bulgarian institutions.

Also, deputy Minister Dondakova, emphasized the importance of joint activities that strengthen the integrity of the Police.

"At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue communication in the direction of reaching a cooperation agreement and participation in joint regional initiatives", the announcement states.
