Prime Minister Albin Kurti today hosted the Governing Board of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors, headed by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edmond Panariti, in which case the Council of Albanian Ambassadors expressed support for today's application of Kosovo for EU membership.

Talking about the decision for the application of the Republic of Kosovo to the European Union, Kurti emphasized that it responds to the call and aspirations of the citizens of the Republic who deeply believe that their future is in the European Union.

As the government informed, the meeting emphasized the belief that the moment is right, taking into account the fact that Kosovo is the most democratic country in the region.

The delegation of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors expressed its full support for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

"They discussed the possibilities of cooperation and coordination of initiatives in support of the integration processes of the Republic of Kosovo," it was announced in the communiqué.
