The contribution of Albanian women to the country is considered very important
For the second year in a row, the traditional event, "Woman, the foundation of freedom" was held, dedicated to the role of the Albanian woman in different periods of time for the country. Last year the event was held in Skopje, while this year it was organized in Suhareka with the theme "Prometheusing women for freedom" where 10 speakers contributed.
The Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Suhareka, Mihrije Berisha, stated that the role of the Albanian woman is wider than only in the education and care of children and as the event has the name, it is the foundation of the freedom of Kosovo.
She expressed her happiness that this event was organized in Suhareka, as the group of girls from this municipality deserved to be talked about for their contribution.
