The Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora held its first meeting for this legislature, where it was said that their priority will be the commitment to increase the number of recognitions for Kosovo, in particular by the five European Union countries that have not recognized the Independence of Kosovo. At the constitutive meeting of this committee, the MPs agreed on the establishment of a working group which will draft the work plan of the committee, but they said that this will be done after receiving the work plan of the government for 2021.

The chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Haki Abazi from the ranks of the Vetëvendosje, said that priority should be given to parliamentary diplomacy.
