The Chamber of Trade and Industry: The price increase of electricity will affect the price increase in general
The increase of price of electricity by 15.4 percent will increase the cost of production in the private sector and is expected to affect the increase in prices in the country. This is what the executive director of the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Kosovo (DhTIK), Zana Beqiri, said, who opposes the decision of the ERO to increase the price and calls it wrong.
In addition, Beqiri says that the short debt repayment period for electricity supply remains a challenge.
In an interview for KosovaPress, Director Beqiri asked the Government for support for local businesses and producers.
The last package for dealing with inflation was approved in September 2022 in the amount of 150 million euros.
