The voice of victims of sexual violence was also heard in Washington. Kosovo was the only country that, at the fifth high-level meeting on the agenda for women, peace and security, spoke about the challenges faced by sexually abused women and girls during the last war in Kosovo. The director of the Kosova Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims, Feride Rushiti, says that in her speech she mentioned the tensions in the north and the traumas caused to this category affected by the war.
