The cases of robbery, Latifi asks for an increase in the presence of the police in Rahovec
The recent cases of robberies, beatings and shootings in the villages of Rahovec have raised concerns among the citizens of this municipality.
In relation to this issue, the Municipality of Rahovec today reviewed the current security situation and decided for a stronger coordination between the police and the citizens.
Mayor Smajl Latifi said that the situation is serious as the property and wealth of citizens are being violated, and he asked to increase the presence of police teams in the field.
The commander of the Rahovec police station, Fadil Morina, said that the cases of criminal offenses in this municipality for this year are 35% less.
He said that the situation is a bit worrying because of the recent cases in the two villages of Rahovec, but that the police have taken all the measures and are on their way to solve them.
