The Kosovo Correctional Service has announced that with the budget vote by the Assembly of Kosovo for prisons, the project for the Treatment of Persons with Special Needs will be financed, while the total value of the project is 412,924 euros. According to the announcement, the Health Institution for the Treatment of Persons with Special Needs will be located in the Dubrava Correctional Center and will cover the health services of persons deprived of their liberty, especially vulnerable groups with special needs, persons at risk of suicide and with acute, temporary, mental disorders, addiction treatment, substitution treatment, occupational therapy and rehabilitation, where adequate occupational health care will be provided without endangering the safety. The institution will enable humane, dignified, professional and adequate treatment for these categories of persons with special needs.
