The next summit of the Berlin Process will be held on November 3 in Berlin, for the first time under the leadership of the new German chancellor, Olaf Scholz. He and the leaders of the six countries of the Western Balkans are expected to discuss the common regional market and its operationalization. The holding of this summit is seen by European integration experts as political attention of the European Union for the Western Balkans.

A spokesperson from the German Government has confirmed the November 3 summit for KosovaPress.

"The next meeting of the Berlin Process will be held on November 3 in Berlin. We ask for your understanding because we cannot predict the content of the talks. For other details about the meeting, we will notify the public in time", says the written response to KosovaPress.

The holding of the summit is welcomed by the Government of Kosovo. Jeton Zulfaj, political advisor to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, tells KosovaPress that Kosovo is a strong supporter of the Berlin Process.

He says that they are interested in the creation of a common regional market in the Western Balkans, where the freedom of movement of citizens, capital, goods and services is encouraged.
