The assembly starts work, on Thursday the parliamentary debate on strikes
The MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo will hold the first plenary session for the autumn session on Thursday, September 15, where the parliamentary debate on the general strikes in the country will be held.
This was decided by the decision of the
Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, since there was no quorum for
decision-making at Monday's meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly due to
the absence of the vice-president from the Vetevendosje Movement and the one
from the Serbian List.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo, which
initiated the parliamentary debate, but also AAK criticized the Government for
the lack of social dialogue with the unions, mainly due to, as they said, the
leadership of Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
The head of the PDK Parliamentary Group,
Abelard Tahiri, said that the parties should discuss to find a solution, since
the greatest damage is being done to students and education in general.
