The Assembly of Kosovo is considered one of the most transparent parliaments in the region
The Assembly of Kosovo
is ranked among the most transparent institutions in the region. This was said
in the activity organized under the umbrella of the Forum for Parliamentary
Transparency in honor of the International Day of Democracy, where the doors of
the Assembly were opened to all citizens.
The Speaker of the
Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that, as in other years, through the
celebration of the Day of Democracy, they aim to promote democracy, to open and
make the Assembly of Kosovo as transparent as possible, and institutions and
public officials to be as accountable as possible as they have taken
responsibility to serve the citizens of Kosovo.
He said that the data of “Open Data Kosovo”,
which ranks the Assembly of Kosovo in second place in terms of the transparency
of parliaments in the region, should not bring complacency, but demand more.
