The Assembly elects three deputy speakers

Albulena Haxhiu, Vlora Çitaku and Kujtim Shala have been elected as deputy speakers with 101 votes in favor, none against, and nine abstentions. The three deputy speakers were voted on as a package, with 110 deputies present.

The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Dimal Basha, said that 101 deputies voted in favor.

“We have 101 votes in favor, none against, and nine abstentions. I state that the Assembly has elected the three deputy speakers of the Assembly of Kosovo as follows: MP Albulena Haxhiu from LVV, Vlora Çitaku from PDK, and Kujtim Shala from LDK,” he said.

The LVV representative, MP Glauk Konjufca, proposed the deputy speaker from LVV.

“The proposal of LVV is MP Albulena Haxhiu,” he declared.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) proposed Vlora Çitaku as deputy speaker.

“The Parliamentary Group of PDK proposes MP Vlora Çitaku as deputy speaker of the Assembly,” said MP Abelard Tahiri.

Meanwhile, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) proposed MP Kujtim Shala.

“The LDK Parliamentary Group has the honor to propose academic Kujtim Shala,” said MP Hykmete Bajrami.
